The English Teacher
ABOUT
Storyline: The central character & narrator is Henry Barraclough, recently retired as Head of English at a British public school. Enraged at what he sees as his unfair treatment by the school, he uses seven leftover exercise books to tell his side of the story. It is a brutally honest account of an intensely sexual, secret love affair that destroys his career and potentially his life.
About the author: Mick Le Moignan studied English at Cambridge University and has written in almost every format. For Corroboree Films and ABC-TV, he produced documentaries about the contemporary life and culture of First Nations Australians.
